DEER IN THE CLEARING

Most hunters know that when a group of deer approach a
clearing in the woods, the bucks will hang back while
the doe cross it. Their purpose is to draw the fire.
If all is well, the bucks show themselves. Now comes a
close human analogy, using the females to draw the fire
or, hopefully, lull the electorate into thinking that a
threat does not exist. A Party co-chair, Harrison,
leads the doe. Their purpose is to lull the elector-
ate, making us think that there has been an attitude
change, making us believe that the goals of the Party
have changed.

But the bucks are just waiting in the wings -- Falwell,
Gindrich, Reed, Lott, Roberts, Santorum, Murdoch and
Starr, Armey -- just to name a few. If we are led into
believing the nonthreatening doe, the leader bucks will
appear after the elections with their programs intact,
the programs we have rejected, the anti-human rights
programs.

Remember we told you a while back that a political
Party was planning a blitz on women because of the huge
Gendergap that defeated many of their candidates in the
last election? It has started. Teams of determined
women are even now descending on your State, your Town,
your psyche. Led by Patty-co-chair of the Party (a
woman with a crocodile-smile from Hell), this group is
composed of some Party "stars", a celeb or two when
available and your own local Party-women. They are out
to charm you and win your vote and they have a bag full
of *woman-issues* specifically crafted to charm the
pants off of you and capture your mind (they think!).

Be ready for them with facts. The surest way to with-
stand this onslaught of charm school grads is to keep
in mind the Plank in their Party Platform that specifi-
cally intends to make all women's reproductive choices
and their organs, subject to and owned by the govern-
ment. Rest assured that even though these women will
avow a strong Pro-Choice stand, they WILL vote with
their leadership when the crunch comes, when the new
Supremes are chosen.

Hang on Gendergappers! You are about to experience the
offensive of those seeking revenge for not getting your
vote last November. Be advised, it's a fearful thing
to behold, potentially dangerous, and somewhat disgust-
ing, so sit back, stay focused and enjoy the show they
put on.

Just know that you are not the only ones getting "the
treatment". Reedy Ralph, now in charge of his own army
of religious thugs, has already started to work his un-
christian ways on the African Americans. So far,
they aren't falling for it. We can watch and learn
from them. They are not fooled by the smiling face and
the glad-handing and since the media has become the
buttboy of Reed, we will be seeing a great deal about
him and his "mission" to bring the voting minorities
into his "clearing" so he can wrap us up and deliver our
vote to a Party that has consistently demonstrated its
contempt for women. The Plank in their platform is
clearly intended to prevent all women from the medical
treatment that their doctor may deem best for their
condition. It is a strong, sturdy Plank, designed
specifically to beat women back into submission.

Understand. We WANT WOMEN in our government. Our
gender is seriously unrepresented. We only ask that
you check the record carefully. You will never find
the perfect candidate (everyone has warts) that espouses
all of your views and is a model citizen, but be certain
that in the end she won't sell herself and her gender
for Party support for another term.

When the doe come to your neck-of-the-woods, ask them
to read that Plank to you out loud. Then when they say
that they are pro-choice, ask they how they can support
that Plank and women's health too. It's a juggling act
to die for -- and women will die.
